Thanks for stopping by!
I write Regency romance and, in my spare time wrangle a golden-eyed terrier and a five six pound chihuahua. (She gained a pound!) They guarantee I step away from my desk for dinner and walks.

Orphaned as a child by the French Revolution, Fleur’s life has not been easy. Homeless again, she seeks a marriage of convenience as a matter of security. But when she crosses paths with a handsome young captain who, years ago, came to her rescue, she must choose between her heart’s desire and practicality.
Saved from enemy troops by a French vintner, Gareth Ardleigh promised to find his rescuer’s granddaughter, Fleur, for a marriage that would consolidate a partnership with another branch of the champagne-making family. Astonished to find that Fleur has grown into a beautiful—and still intriguing—young woman, it soon becomes clear, he must choose between honoring a promise or trying to win the hand of the woman he loves.

I’m excited to share this new collection of stories from the Bluestocking Belles featuring an All Hallows Eve setting and even a few ghosts!
When the year grows colder and the veil between worlds grows thin—or so they say—comes the time for stories to make you shiver. The Bluestocking Belles bring ghosts, and ghoulies, and spirits of all kinds, each leading to love, the greatest madness of all.
Jude Knight – Moonlight Becomes You in which a lady sees, but cannot hear, a ghost who attempts to warn her about a man who will die if she doesn’t find him soon.
Alina K. Field – The Duke, the Diamond, and the Ghastly Ghoul in which a house party at a haunted abbey brings together a duke, a ghost-hunting lady, and two ghosts determined to right old wrongs.
Aileen Fish – Mad about the Marquess in which a lady known for communing with the dead is forced to bring unwanted messages to the marquess next door from his dead father.
Rue Allyn – True Love’s Kiss in which a hunter seeking his kidnapped son in the forest stumbles upon a fairy with a similar mission. Together they may succeed if they stop squabbling.
Caroline Warfield – Not Again, Harry in which a lady takes shelter in a creepy old house only to find haunting, prowlers, strange artifacts, and a man from her past. A wish-granting mouse complicates it all.
Sherry Ewing – Finding My Way To You in which a ghost meets a determined lady who leaps at a chance to alter his past in spite of his efforts to convince her to leave the past where it belongs.
Barbara Monajem – The Haunted Hoyden in which two friendly ghosts help a lady to rescue a handsome, wounded man—who proves to be just what she needs to escape a dastardly plot.
Elizabeth Donne – Always With You in which a man pressed-ganged into service in the Royal Navy promises his wife he will come back to her. Whether it’s in this life or the next remains to be seen.

A New Series is Underway
Forevers in Fenwick
Do you remember this collection of stories from the Bluestocking Belles a few years ago?
The setting was the fictional town of Fenwick on Sea in Suffolk. The heart of the town was an old Tudor-era inn; when the town was isolated by a fierce spring storm, romance happened!
The Bluestocking Belles are bringing romance in Fenwick on Sea back to life with a multi-author novella series called Forevers in Fenwick.
Ah, Fenwick On Sea! A humble village, somewhat forgotten by time. But not for long if the innkeeper has his way! Rumor of a fae blessing upon his inn is exactly what he needs to draw crowds back to the neglected village. Of course, it’s only talk. Or is it?
The fourth book in this series will arrive on September 1st. Find all the links at https://bluestockingbelles.net/belles-joint-projects/foreversinfenwick/

Merry Belles, a Bluestocking Belles Collection with Friends
Just in time for the holidays, seven charming stories of romance from award-winning and best-selling authors:
- A murder brings a lady and her lost love together, just close enough to heal old wounds.
- A young lady must foil a friend’s betrayal to have her Yuletide wish for love come true.
- A widowed lord’s new housekeeper tames his rowdy boys and pierces his lonely heart.
- A lady determined to find her wayward young son finds herself stranded with the persistent earl trying to woo her out of widowhood.
- Will restoring a family manor together help two people acknowledge a secret attraction and claim a future together?
- A soldier’s wife is determined to find her missing husband, even if she must walk the length and breadth of England with her children in a wheelbarrow.
- Home from the wars, a soldier is shocked to learn that his fiancée plans to wed someone else. Can he reach her in time to prevent the nuptials?
My contribution to the collection is Lady Loughton’s Last Wager. If you’ve read A Wallflower’s Midsummer Night’s Caper, you’ll remember Lady Loughton as the elegant but somewhat harried mother of that story’s heroine. As you can imagine, this is an “older” romance: the widowed Lady Loughton gets a second chance at love with the determined earl who’s been pursing her.
